Combination

Another example of what I like - mixes of patterns and colours.

Here in a top with long sleeves in size 38.

Patterned tunic

Tunic in size 38. I like this fabric with different patterns, like a patchwork. As a contrast brown waisteband and sleeves.

Dress for me

A dress with slightly trumped-shaped sleeves.

Home-made pattern, 84 cm long in size SE 38.

I like stripes

I like stripes and t-shirts with sleeves in another colour... Another long sleeved t-shirt in my favourite pattern, this time with stripes in blue, yellow, red and white. For me, a little mix of Swedish and French. Children size 108.

Little Owls

A long sleeved shirt in children size 108. Turquoise with printed cute owls and dark brown arms. The pattern is from Ottobre 03/2008: Octopus t-shirt. Originally with short sleeves and in size 98. I have added long sleeves and made it bigger, mostly by just adding centimeters to the length.

Cars everywhere

A colourful long sleeved t-shirt for little car lovers. Children size 98.

I have made the arms to look like a t-shirt above a long sleeved one.

Bikini/underpants

This model could be used for swimsuits or underwears depending of the type of fabric. I have made the pattern out of my favourite bikini pants. The seam is a decorative stitch on my sewing machine that could be stretched without breaking. The thread used is Wooly Nylon.

Stretchy seams

When sewing in fabrics with an extra stretch (like swimwears etc) I like to use this special thread, Wooly nylon. With this in the upper and lower loopers of the Serger machine you get really stretchy seams.

T-shirt in blue, white and flowers

This t-shirt has a blue body (front and back) and a white fabric with flowers on the chest and arms. Women size Medium.

Little Roo

Disney inspired t-shirt with Roo embroidered on the chest and arms with Mickey ears. Children size 86.

Tunique in blue and flowers

Here is another tunique with arms of 3/4 length, size Small.

Paw Power

A couple of years ago I bought some cotton fabrics with athletic club logos from different American universities. I bought them here in Sweden at "Olssons Tyger och Stuvar".

Here is a pair of Bermudas shorts with Clemson University Tigers (I have now learned that Clemson is located in South Carolina after a Google search). The shorts is in children size 86.

Another pair is the one with Winsconsin Badgers.

Mickey Ears T-shirt

A t-shirt with Mickey Mouse ears, children size 86.

Sweatshirt trousers

Trousers in children size 98. It's a common model, to make them a little more original I've made them of two colours, blue and brown, with striped cuffs.

Elephants in a row

Long sleeved t-shirt in white and blue with cute elephants. Children size 98.

Tunique in summer colours

A tunique in size Small. The arms in fresh green are of ¾ length.

Winnie the Pooh

A long sleeved t-shirt with Winnie the Pooh. One of the pre-installed embroideries in my Brother sewing/emboridery machine.

Flower skirt

A skirt made with my “office skirt pattern” as I call it, same model as the one in brown and white. Length to the knees. Simple to sew and I feel comfortable in it.

Sweater

It's still summer but when it gets colder it's nice to have a warm cozy sweater on. Here a blue one in sweatshirt fabric, children size 98. I didn't have enough fabric for the whole arms so I made them by two pieces. I think the seams turned into nice details.

Car

Long sleeved t-shirt with an embroidered car in children size 98. The embroidery pattern is made by Filip Koza (http://www.filipkoza.cz/).

More colour splashes

A tunique with wrap-around neck. The same fabric as the colourful t-shirt.

Scooby Doo embroidery

A long sleeved t-shirt with Scooby Doo. I made this embroidery out of an image by editing it in Photoshop (reducing the amount of colours etc) and then converting it to an embroidery pattern using the software Brother PE Design.

Colourful t-shirt

A t-shirt in children size 104. The pattern on the fabric reminds me of a painting I did when I was at a Tivoli when I was young (by blowing out the paint on a paper that spins around, or something like that).

Sleeveless top again

Another top from my home made pattern. This time in pink, purple and grey.

Skirt in brown and white

I was in need of something light and neat in the summer heat. So I made this skirt, an easy model that is fast to make.

Sleeveless top

A top in viscose/cotton, size 38. I made the pattern for this top by comparing with a bought top.

Mickey Mouse shorts

A pair of bermudas shorts, size 110/116. Again I have used the fabric "Geared up for fun with Mickey Mouse" as in this t-shirt.

Leggings

A pair of leggings in a soft tricot fabric (cotton/lycra). Fresh with turquoise in the summer.

Long sleeved top again

This top is in the same model as the previous in brown, purple and white. I have made the pattern myself by copying a bought t-shirt. The fabric is in viscose/lycra. Size 38.

Changes

I have decided to write in English from now on. Old entries are in Swedish.

Långärmad topp

Långärmad topp i åtsittande modell, storlek 38. Mönstret är detsamma som för den här kortärmade t-shirten.

Tröja med omlott i turkost och blommor

Denna tröja i jerseytyg är en anpassning av ett blus-mönster från Burda. Storlek: 38.

Nalle Puh

Ett av de Nalle Puh-motiv som finns i min symaskin.

Grönt är skönt

Lite har det blivit sytt i år, bla ett par mjukisbyxor i grönt och blått med sy-på-märke i form av ett lejon. Storlek ca 104.

Long time no sewing

Det var länge sedan jag sydde och ännu längre sedan jag skrev något här. Jag tappade inspirationen ett tag men nu börjar jag bli riktigt sugen igen! Får se om det blir något i påskhelgen. Härligt med vår!
